I have lawn cast the rod, I like it with a DT 7.  This is one of my favored Dickerson models.  It is a great streamer rod.  $1,750.

dickerson_948_1_thumb.jpg (903 bytes) dickerson_948_2_thumb.jpg (1034 bytes) dickerson_948_3_thumb.jpg (918 bytes) dickerson_948_4_thumb.jpg (859 bytes) 948.  Dickerson 8014 Guide, 8', 2-piece, 2 tips bag and tube.  All original.  The Guide model has a little more back bone than the regular 8014.  This enabled the guide running a 24' Au Sable River boat to pick up 35' or so fo line and place fly very accurately with out false casting.   The guide models are pretty rare.  The rod had some bag wear and a few varnish nicks so I have steel wool it and gave a light varnish over coat.  Rod was made 1952 and is dated on butt. $3,500.
