1041. Thomas Special 9', 3-piece, # 5 line, 2 tips, 1 tip is 3 1/2" short. bag and tube. I have steel wooled and given rod a light varnish overcoat. Have lawn cast the rod it is a nice DT 5 rod. $700.00

1077. Farlows Parabolic Sawyer Still Water Model, 9' 6" 1 tip and bag. Rod was made as a 1 tip rod. Rod is in excellent fishable condition. I have lawn cast it and like the rod with a DT 7. It is a perfect streamer rod for steelhead and salmon. $500.00

1078. The Bangor Rod by F.E. Thomas Rod Co., Built about 1930, 8', 2-piece. Heavy casting rod or light trolling rod. The rod showed very little use. But the silk wraps were drying out and the varnish was showing a lot of bag wear. I have refinished the rod. It has agate butt and tip top. The guides are nickle silver tunnel type. We have made a new bag and added a new aluminum tube. It is now ready for fishing or display. $500.00

1179. Montague Plug Casting Rod, 4' 6" including handle. Rod is in excellent fishable condition for 3/8 oz. plug. All agate guides. $175.00

1182. Silver Lake Casting Rod, 5', 2-piece, 2 tips in wooden form holder. Rod and holder have been professionally refinished and are in A-1 condition to fish or collect. Ferrules and reel seat are nickle silver all guides are agate. $600.00

1185. Edward Quadrate Spinning Rod, 7', 2-piece, 6 to 8 line. Rod is in good fishable condition. $550.00

1188. Edward Quadrate, 5' 5" casting rod. Rod is all original with bag and aluminum tube. A small part of decal is on tube. It is in good useable condition. Ready to fish. $650.00

1191. F E Thomas Special, 7 1/2 Ft. trolling rod, 3-piece, bag and tube. All original has bag tag. Tip is short 3". A nice match for your old casting reel or reel #337 on our reel listing. $300.00

1201. F E Thomas Casting Rod, 6', 2-piece, 2 tips in formed wood holder in canvas bag. All original in fishable condition. A great piece of American rod making history to put with your old meek's reel. $600.00

1203. D&S Co. Hub Special, 8' bait casting rod in formed wood holder, 2 tips. A nice piece of early American rod history in fishable condition or collect. $350.00

1267. Hardy Deluxe, 8' 6", 3-piece, 2 tips, bag and tube. Rod cast a WF 6 real nice. I have steel wool and given rod a light varnish over coat. This is a real nice example of Hardy of England's work. I would guess rod was made 1930"s. It has a serial # 53382. $675.00

1309. Bamboo Casting Rod, 6', 1-piece. I would guess it was made by Montague or H-I. Is in excellent useable condition . For up to 10 lb line and 3/8 oz. lures. $150.00

1365. Montague, 7'4", 2-piece, 2 tips, bag and tube. Rod has been restored with new nickle silver super Z style ferrules and Garrison style handle and reel seat. Rod was original 8', the butt was shortened creating a stagered ferrule design. It has a long ferrule plug for use when in the tube. I have lawn cast the rod it's real nice with a DT 5 line. $450.00

1379. C.W. Jenkins & Son, 8' classic model # 5 to 6 line, 2-piece, 2 tips, bag and tube. I have lawn cast the rod it is a great all around rod. It cast 25 ft. or 60 ft. real nice. Rod shows very little use, looks almost new. After talking to the seller of the rod and his discussion with Steve Jenkins we have established that the rod was built in 1998 while Steve and his dad were working together. $1475.00

1443. Wanigas supreme, 8' 6", # 6 to 7 line, 2-piece, 2 tips, bag and tube. Rod was made mid 1950's. The Wanigas Rod Co. was located in Saginaw and owned and operated by Are Neumann. Art was one of the original founders of Trout unlimited and it's first Vice president. He is the man who made TU a national wide organization. One tip had a hook nick that had been repaired with epoxy. I do not think it will cause any problem. Nice piece of history. $995.00

1448. Spey Rod 14', 3-piece, # 9 line. Rod was made in Norway. It is in good fishable condition. Rod is one tip in heavy cloth bag. $500.00

1449. Ted Simroe, 8' # 5 to 6 line, 2-piece, 2 tips, bag and tube. Rod looks new it may of been fished once. I have lawn cast it and like it with a WF 5. Ted has many years of rod building experience with the Leonard Rod Co. and now builder on his own. $1275.00

1484. Shakespeare 9', # 6 line, 3-piece, 2 tips, bag and tube. Rod is in good fishable condition. I steel wooled and gave it a light varnish oveercoat. $220.00

1507. Goodwin Granger Champion, 9', # 5 to 6 line, 3-piece, 2 tips, bag and tube, rod is in excellent fishable condition and shows little use. The aluminum tube is a newer replacement, the original tube was cardboard. I have lawn cast this rod and could really enjoy it on some of our wider rivers where it's important to mend your line. The 9' lifts a lot of line clear of the water for a good mend. $650.00

1532. Ron Kusse Special, 8', 6 to 7 wt. line, 2-piece, 2 tips, bag and tube and removeable extension butt with uplock reel seat. I have lawn cast the rod and it's real nice for me with a WF 6. the rod looks like new. Click the white square and picture will come up. $2250.00

1535. Hardy Phantom, 8', 2-piece, 2 tips, # 5 line. Rod was original purchased directly from the Hardy Bro, LTD in 1962 by John Bradford a fine rod builder in Texas. John refinished the rod and sold it to the current owner 2006. The rod is as new or better. John is one of the best restorer of rods I know. The original bill of sale from Hardy and a letter from John explains what he did in the restoring. I have lawn cast the rod and it is a real nice 5 WT. all around rod. $1050.00

1536. Dave Klausmeyer, 8', # 4 line, 2 tips, bag and tube. Rod was built November 20 1989 and looks almost new. The butt section is hollow built to reduce the weight and give the rod a real 4 wt. feel. I have lawn cast tehe rod and like it with a WF 4. Dave is now editor of Fly Tyer magazine and has taken a break from rod building. His rods are rare and a good value for the money. $950.00

1539. Kingfisher Jackson Model, 9', # 6 to 7 line, 3-piece, 2 tips, ( 1 tip 1" short ). Bag and aluminum tube. The Kingfisher models were sold by the Edward K. Tryon Co. of Penn. a early American fishing supply house. The rod looks like it may of been made by the Edward's Rod Co., The rod shows very little use. I have lawn cast it and like it with a DT 6. It has a very smooth powerful feel. A great streamer rod for up to # 6 flies. $450.00

1558. Gary Howells 8' 6", # 5 line, 2-piece, 2 tips, bag and tube. Rod looks almost new. I have lawn cast it and like it with a WF 5. The 8 1/2 ft. lenght is really nice for mending the line. The handle still have a clear plastic covering on it, they don't get any better for the collector or user. $3150.00

1559. Gary Howells 8', # 6 line, 2-piece, 2 tips, bag and tube. Rod looks almost new. This rod and the 8' 6", # 1558 were original made for the same fisherman. He took great care of both rods. the handle still have a clear plastic covering. This does not get any better for the collector or user. $3250.00

1560. F.E. Thomas Special, 9', # 6 to 7 line, 3-piece, 2 tips( 1 tip is 3 3/4" short ). Rod has been professionally refinished and shows very little use since. I have lawn cast it and like it with a DT 6. It would be a joy to fish streamer and nymphs on a bigger river. It will cast 60 to 70 ft. real easy. $875.00

1563. F.E. Thomas, 9', # 7 to 8 line, 3-piece, 2 tips, bag and tube. Rod is in excellent fishable condition. I have lawn cast it and like it with a DT 7. It is a sreal nice streamer rod for up to # 6 flies. $1550.00

1569. HARDY PALAKONA, 7 1/2', 1 tip, bag and tube. Rod looks like new, may of been fished once. I have lawn cast it and like it with a WF 5. $800.00

1575. F E Thomas Special, 8', 3-piece, # 4 to 5 line. Rod is in excellent condition. I have lawn cast it and like it with a WF 4. It has a real nice heat treat color the varnish and ferrules fit are excellent. This is a real nice piece of American fly fishing history. $1500.00 On Hold

1576. Jim Schaaf, 9', # 6 line, 2-piece, 2 tips, bag and tube. Rod is in excellent condition and shows very little use. I have lawn cast it and like it with a WF 6. The action is parabolic much like a Pezon and Michel or a extended Paul H. Young para 15. Jim started the Schaaf rod shop in 1980. He purchased the Dickerson rod shop in 1986 and had many years of rod building until his recent death. I would enjoy this rod fishing streamer or nymphs up to a size 6 hook, it would mend line very nice. $1200.00

1577. T & T Hendrickson, 8', # 4 line, 2-piece, 2 tips, bag and tube. All original in excellent condition except for one tip being 1/2"short. I have lawn cast the rod. It's cast a WF 4 real nice. Maybe the best 8' 4 line rod I have ever cast. $2200.00

1579. Heddon Bamboo Casting Rod, model # 6, 6', 2-piece for lures up to 1/2 oz. Rod is in good fishable condition has agate guides. A nice piece of American bamboo rod making history for use or display it with your old American casting reel. $100.00

1580. Folson by Edward Rod Co., 10', 3-piece with two removeable extension and plug for when using rod without a extension one is 2 1/2", one is 6". bag and tube. I made the 6" extension and put new threaded cap and bottom on tube. Rod is in good fishable conditon. After lawn casting it with a Wf 7 I think it would be a great rod for large rivers fishing wet or dry. It would mend a lot of line real easy. $750.00

1581. Hardy Bamboo Spinning Rod, 6' 10 " for up to 6 lb line. rod is in like new conditon in heavy cloth bag. I would guess it was made 1960's. $300.00

907. Hardy L.R.H. Wet Fly Rod, 9', 2 tips, bag and tube. Mid section is 1 1/2" short. I have given rod a light varnish over coat. On the lawn the rod cast a DT 5 real nice. It is a good rod for small wet flies and nynphs. This is a perfect match for a Hardy L.R.H reel. Such as # 367 on our reel secton. $550.00

965. Montague, 8' 6", # 6 line, 2tips, bag and wooden tip holder. Rod was made for Eastern Cost Tackle. Cane is nicety heat treated to a golden brown. Rod shows very little use. I have lawn cast it and like it with a WF 6. $125.00 On Hold
