6', 1-piece, bag and tube.  This is the first rod Tom Dorsey and Tom Maxwell sold to the public when they started their company in Pennsylvania.  It is serial #2001 and is listed in Thomas & Thomas Rod Registry as the first rod. I require it in 1982 from the original owner and it's been in my personal collection since.   I have talked to Tom Dorsey and Tom Maxwell about this rod and they both agreed it is number one sold to the public.  Serious collector of the fine rods Thomas & Thomas created should have this rod. A copy of the ledger page  showing this rod will go with the sale.  The original owner's name is on rod and matches the ledger.
