7’2”#5 to 6 line 2 piece 1 tip bag & tube Stagered Ferrule design with bamboo spacer for butt section when stored in tube The stagered ferrule was devlloped by Charles Ritz working with Pezon & Michel in France It puts the ferrule more in the butt section were less of the flexing accures Walter made his first rods in the 1950s while working as a cabinet maker By 1963 he gave up the cabinet shop and became a full time rod maker This kept him swamped with orders untill he passed away in 2007 His rods are highley praised by fisherman & collectors world wide I have lawn cast it and like it with both 5&6 Wt. lines this is a rare model being a stagered ferrule It is in excellent condition & shows little use
