5’6” #4 To5 line 2 piece 1 tip bag & tube Bag & tube are not orginal Walter was a cabinet maker & fisherman in early 1950s he started as a hobby Designing & building equipment to make a bamboo fly rod By 1963 His name in the fly fishing world was becoming known for fine Bamboo fly rods This led to closing the cabinet shop and building rods full time He did this untill he passed away in 2007 this rod this rod reminds me of the Paul Young Driggs designed for smaller brush covered rivers It has just the right back bone to keep a 12”brooktrout out of a brush pile I have lawn cast it and like it with both 4 & 5 Wt. lines Walter workmanship is excellent this is a nice piece of rod makeing history to use and collect Sale will include a 10 page magazine artical mostly about Walter
