1796-7 A Rare Dickerson 7613

3,950.00

7' 6", # 5 line, 2 piece. 2 tips, bag and tube. i tip is 1" short, 1 tip, 5" short. I have lawn cast the rod and both tips still cast real nice with a DT or WF 5. Now what is rare Mr. Dickerson marked this rod 8014. It also has the owners name and date 1966 on it. I've been building rods myself since 1956 and can see how this happened. I've had three or more rods ready for writing and laid out on the bench and got them mixed up. Mr. Dickerson made three srods for this owner a 8015 guide special, a 8014 and this 7613. The 8014 and 7613 are both mixed up and did not catch the mistake. Any way the owner used them on Michigan Au Sable River for many years and had a great conversation piece. We are now selling the three rods and a letter from the owner telling how she and her husband visited Mr. Dickerson shop.
