8’ # 5 line 3 tips bag & tube Rod was built 1968 it has owners name & date on rod Harry the orginal owner had a cabin on AuSable River in northern Michigan he fished most every weekend When he retired from the auto Industry in Detroit he moved up to the river full time He was a river warrior Allways invollved in some fight to protected river I met up with Harry many times when floating with George Griffth (founder of Trout Unlimited ) in his 24 ft. AuSable River boat Harry had the same boat I remember one time durning the Henderson Hatch George & me met up with Harry & his guide we tied both boats to a cedar an had a shore lunch Fish were feeding Harry said Bob try this rod After a few casts I knew why It was so poplar on the AuSable I like it with a WF5 & a 10 ‘ 5x leader & # 14 Dry I refinished this rod for Harry about 1985 I do not think it got used very much since Having this rod in my shop for awhile brings back a lot of good memory
