It feels much like a Dickerson 8615 Jim Schaaf Owned the Dickerson. rod shop & made These blanks befor he passed away John Pickard Aquired the shop. and completed the rod after he moved it back to Michigan Both men were fine rod makers This rod is a fine example. of what happened to the Dickerson Rod Shop After Mr. Dickerson sold it to Tim Bedford of Oakland Calif. Tim passed away. & Jim Schaaf aquired the shop from Tims estate When Jim Schaaf passed away John Pickard Aquired the shop and moved it back to Michigan. I would guess this was one of the last rod s Jim worked on and never finnished John did a nice job of finnishing it. Its a great all around trout rod.
