model 722 commander Ross this model was built between 1929 & 1942 this reel was built after 1936 evident by the on & off click button being on the back plate Early ones had it on the handle side the reel is from a collectionof 9 Vom Hofe reels we are selling This one has the orginal hard leather case The case & reel have the orginal owners initials engraved on them The thumb brake pad shows very little use The strap on case has been replaced There are no cracks in the hard rubber the foot is full length the reel looks like its just been displayed for the last 80 years
