8/ 6” #7 to 8 line 2 piece 2 tip bag # tube It has the heavy duty alum. tube made from tubing left over from the B24 bomber factory near Detroit after WW2 The rod was built in 1951 and dated on the rod in Paul Youngs hand writing I rewraped 2 guides & made new handle The rod showed little use but somehow the cork got a crack in it and a couple guide wraps got frayed It is now ready for many years of use The Parabolic 17 is the big brother to the Parabolic 15 If you like casting on the lawn or water you will realy enjoy playing with this rod Its a casting machine
