7’2” #4 to 5 line 2 piece 2 tips 1 dry 1 wet 1 tip is marked wet This was a special order rod Having fished the Driggs River I can see were a heavyer tip to cast a #8 streamer Micky Fin ect. would be a little better at times This rod serial #2281 was built in 1957 I was working along side Mr. Young at this time& can visualize a customer telling a fish story & asking for a heavy tip to fish a streamer through a 4’ deep hole under overhanging brush This would be common on the Driggs river located in Michigans upper peninsula best known for its brook trout The rod is all orginal & shows little use Its ready for many years of fishing the writing on the rod is mine The tube is alum. tubing left over from the B24 bomber factory near Detroit
