This rod was sold as a kit rod with one tip about 1959 It showed very little use The handle shape & wraps were not like a Paul Young midge So I made a new second tip , cork handle& reelseat Then wraped & varnished It has Super Z nickle silver ferrules the bag & tube are orginal I made the grip a blunt cicgar shape I will make this a longer taper if wanted and vent it if wanted like rod #2661 Paul Young Matha Marie. The rod is now like the Midges I made working at the Paul Young co.for 18 years starting in 1956
