It has Super Z ferrule they fit good Rod is in excllent fishable condition Having Worked For the Young Co. for 17 years Starting in 1956 with Paul young I would guess there were about 20 Parabolic 16 s counting the ones befor 1955. I own one and fish it a couple times a year Its a great all around rod Dry Or Wet
