He was pleased with the rod But heard the next batch of cane you get may not be near as good as what you got here This led him to Buying from the Charles Demmerst Co. in New York Importers of Tonkin Cane from China. Were you could go see the cane first Which i did about 1980 and brought back my chevy. wagon back full to Michigan. The rod is in excllent. condition ready to fish and collect I have Lawn cast it Its much like a 861611. I could enjoy this rod all day. I am going to take it on the Boardman in the next week. This is a very rare rod & should be in the collection of a serious Dickerson Collector. Its a great piece of American rod making History
