I think he would of been 30 or so He ordered this rod after we moved to Traverse City. 200 miles north of Detroit in 1969. and used it mostly on Michigan s Ausable river system Paul designed the rod for his wife Martha Marie. Because she got into a lot of 16 “+ Asuable. brown s Its a great all around trout rod in prefect condition ready for enoughter 50+ years
